Fake Fans of teams
Something that really bugs me is bandwagon fans. I have been a fan of my favorite teams for a long long time. I stand by them in good times or bad. It is a marriage that you can't and never would even think about leaving. I see this all the time. bandwagon fans are the worst fans in all of sports. they latch onto the great teams of the season and call them theirs so they always feel like they are on top and so is there team. the majority of Boston Red Sox so called fans are that way. they never used to travel well until they won the world series then all of a sudden it was as though every one in America was a Red Sox fan. most of them cant even name the player who missed the ball between the legs in the world series back in the day. I now see this with Boise State football. I read all the time on Facebook and what not about how someone is going to watch their broncos. Give me a break you never knew of them till you heard how good they were on ESPN's Sports Center. You also know they arent real fans of that program because When Brotzman the place kicker missed those two chip shots against Nevada they told him to run and hide and/or kill himself because he put just put your or what you call your team into what I call a "Bull Crap Bowl Game". you know what I say to you morons who call yourself fans? you go hide and never show yourself again. yeah you could say what if? but never ever throw a player underneath the bus especially those who have been a major part in the teams success. Now that isnt to say you cant criticize and want better but Brotzman is one of the best. So You fake moronic bandwagon fans. Go away and quit hiding at the top because I can sniff you out like a drug dog and you will fall quicker than a meteor when your gig is up. Your not a true fan and never will be. You are a joke and the laughing stock of all fans around the world. Trust me you know who you are!
Bull Crap Bowl Games
Sitting here trying to figure out what to write for my first post and watching ESPN's Bowl Week got me thinking. Does anyone realize how many dang bowl games there are? To me it feels like 100 but we all know that isn't true. In reality there is only 35. ONLY!! of those 35, 7 are played before christmas. All 7 of which mean absolutely nothing other than one more game for seniors and if you win, a trophy. A trophy which also means nothing. Back to the 35 bowl games. Why have all those games when everyone knows the one that really matters is the one that is played 35 days after the regular season is over. That game is the National championship game. So as the fans of the teams sit and wait 35 days to say their team is the national champion, they sit and watch games that don't mean to much at all. Teams play 3 months to try and be national champions but when they are told they are playing for that title they have to wait 35 days to even settle that game on the field. Now the D-1 FCS (Football Championship Subdivision) has it right. when the season is over they have a playoff system to decide who plays for the national title. This system shows which team has the fortitude to make it through gut wrenching elimination games week in and week out. It gives us the Cinderella story of the underdog that had a tough season, rising to the challenge and knocking off the #1 team in college football. these games show more pride than stupid meaningless bowl games. the suspense is intense you win and move on or lose and go home. In bowl games you win you go home you lose you go home. The BCS sucks and needs to be changed!!! NO MORE BULL CRAP BOWL GAMES!!!!
